In the launch event, Mr Sainapuram Sumalatha Ram Reddy, Sarpanch, Mosra, addressed the gathering and expressed their gratitude to the Trust for their interest taken in these service initiatives.

In the pilot phase, 5000 to 7000 children at both locations will be provided with Ragi Malt – nutritious health drink made out of Ragi and Jaggery on alternate days. In a phased manner,  all the 28,000 school children in Yerragondapalem and 31,000 school children in Markapuram regions will receive this morning nutrition.

Annapoorna Trust was represented by our Trustees, Mr. Anand Kadali, Mr. Sai Prasad Ivaturi, Mr. Jayaprakash Tallam & Mr. Prabhakar Gupta along with Mr. Surendra Babu – Andhra Pradesh co-ordinator.

On 28^th July 2022, the official launch of Morning Nutrition Program took place at Government school in Ramohalli, Kengeri – Bengaluru. This is an initiative taken by CSR wing of Narayana Health in collaboration with Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust. The event took place in the presence of Mr. Muthu Raju – Senior Executive, Narayana Health CSR, Mr. Bhanu Prakash – Narayana Health, Local Panchayat head, Headmasters & teachers of all the 4 schools who are part of this morning nutrition. Annapoorna Trust was represented by Mr. Ashish Bhardwaj – Manager – Operations, CSR Partners and Govt Alliances, Mr. Sushanth Karanth – Manager Corporate Communications, Mr. Sai Bhaskar – Relationship Manager & Mr. Anil Lingayat – Senior Executive Operations.

As part of the pilot launch, 170 children will be benefited in 3 Government schools of Belora village & 1 school in Kuralpurna village of Chandur bazar taluk. SaiSure with milk will be provided to children for all 6 days of the week. Mr. Omprakash alias Bacchu Babarao Kadu who is the former state minister of Education, was the chief guest during the launch along with other Government officials, teachers & children. Mr. Santhosh Agarwal, Vidarbha region in charge in Maharashtra represented Annapoorna Trust. With a keen interest in the progress of rural children, Mr. Bachhu Kadu has assured to provide milk from the Government end in the coming days.

The event took place in the presence of Chief Guest Ms. Nishu Kumari – Regional Education officer (REO), Dr Maheshwar Prasad – Retd Civil Surgeon, Jamshedpur along with Headmaster, teachers & students. Seniors & volunteers representing Annapoorna Trust from Jharkhand were Babu Lal Singh, Subba Rao, Rajashekhar, Ashwin Chhabra, Sridhar Raju, Rakesh Kumar & Akhilesh Kumar. Mr. Subhajit Roy Mukherjee – Regional Coordinator West Bengal who is also Founder & Project Lead of Sri Sathya Sai Arogya Vahini Trust & Mr. Chandan Kumar – Regional Manager Bihar & Jharkhand represented Annapoorna Trust.
