Launch of SaiSure Morning Nutrition Program in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, 28th June 2022

On 28th June 2022, SaiSure Morning Nutrition Program was launched in the holy abode of Bhagawan Ram in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. This pilot project will cater to 1750 children in 27 schools. The event took place in the presence of Mr. A K Sharma, Hon. Minister of Urban Development and Energy, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Lallu Singh – Member of Parliament Faizabad, Mr. Rishikesh Upadhyay – Ayodhya Mayor & Mr. Vishal Singh – Municipal Commissioner & Vice Chairman – Ayodhya Development Authority. Mr. Ashish Bhardwaj – Manager – Operations, CSR Partners And Govt. Alliances & Ms. Shipra Chadha – Hon. Consultant, CSR Partner Alliances represented Annapoorna Trust.
Mr. A K Sharma addressed the gathering and said, “Proper nutrition for growing children is the need of the hour. The more these kinds of initiatives are taken, better will be the result in health and overall development of the child. These children are the future torch bearers of our nation. Our government is keen to support on the lines of National Nutrition Mission and its expansion in the state of Uttar Pradesh. I believe in Sathya Sai Baba & have immense respect for Him and His work. This is an important work which Annapoorna Trust has undertaken, ensuring proper nutrition to rural school going children. Giving my blessings for the program, I am keen on seeing this kind of work continue to grow.”
Mr. Ashish Bhardwaj felicitated Mr. A K Sharma with a memento and a shawl as a mark of respect during the occasion. Annapoorna Trust extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Vishal Singh – Municipal Commissioner & Vice Chairman – Ayodhya Development Authority who supported and helped us by getting the necessary permissions from the government and administration. Last but not the least, the Trust extends its heartfelt thanks to officials from the education department and the teachers for extending their support.
