Launch of Annapoorna breakfast program in Jillalguda in Telangana, April 21st 2022

Annapoorna Trust launched the morning nutrition programme on 21-Apr-2022 for school going children in ZPHS, Jillelguda, Meerpet Municipal Corporation near Hyderabad in Telangana. The occasion was graced by Honourable Minister of Education in Telangana government, Ms. Sabitha Indira Reddy who is also MLA of Maheshwaram assembly constituency, Ms. Sarala SA – Headmaster ZPHS Jillelguda, teachers & students. Mr. Anand Kadali – Trustee & Secretary, Mrs. Padma Radhika – Donor relationship manager, Mr. Dhananjay Rao Ejapu – Manager in Marketing & Digital communication were representing Annapoorna Trust.
The launch will start with morning nutrition being served to 300 students studying in class 10. From the beginning of the next academic year, as many as 10,000 children across various government schools from adjacent areas in Maheshwaram constituency will receive daily morning nutrition as well.
This launch is expected to not only nourish the children with much needed micro nutrients etc. but also help keep morning classroom hunger at bay.
