Annapoorna has come up with an innovative solution of a balanced protein based health supplement – SaiSure ^TM that can be mixed with milk supplied free of cost by Govt of Karnataka under Ksheera Bhagya Scheme. This supplement meets the protein, calorie, vitamin and mineral requirements, as well as micronutrients for the growing children. 

Saisure has already been distributed free of cost to children in schools at Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, Tumkur, Gulbarga, Dharwad districts of Karnataka. Annapoorna Trust has been giving Saisure to anganwadi children, primary school children & pregnant women across various districts in Karnataka & has resulted in improvement in health parameters such as – decline in wasting, stunting, malnutrition and better BMI in children. Local authorities of Vaderahalli grama in Yelahanka had come to know of this development & requested for Saisure to be distributed to their anganwadi school children. During the first week of July, 40 jars of Saisure were distributed to needy anganwadi children at Vaderahalli grama in Yelahanka.
